Canyoneering Basic "1 Day"

Course Details

If you are interested in learning the basics of canyoneering and want to pursue this activity on your own in the future this is the course for you. This curriculum is geared towards preparing you to explore the entry level canyons of Zion National Park. This instructional day will be spent learning our curriculum and spending time in the vertical world practicing your new skills.

If you desire to be a more proficient canyoneer and do longer and more difficult canyoneering routes in the future, you should consider our Canyoneering Intermediate 3 Day Course.

This course includes all of the essentials: planning, rope management, anchor evaluation, rappelling, safety issues and concerns. The curriculum of this course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to descend a select few of Zion National Park's entry level canyons. More info>
