Escape the desert heat and head to the high country with us on this made to order breath of fresh mountain air. We'll start our day at 4000ft in elevation amongst the towering sandstone walls of Zion Canyon and head north on a real gem of a backroad that takes us to a lofty 11,000ft at the top of Brian Head Peak. We'll stop at Cedar Breaks National Monument for a stretch of the legs before heading east along scenic Highway 14 averaging an elevation of 8500ft. This is the perfect elevation for the hearty aspen groves that line the drive. Down Highway 89 we'll stop in at the famous Ho-made Pies in Mt. Carmel Junction.. From here stuffed and happy we'll make our way to Zion through the East entrance and catch the last rays of the day before arriving safely back in Springdale.
