No, this trip is meant for beginners and those wanting to try out the sport to see what it is all about.
How physically fit do I need to be?
Fitness helps, but technique counts for a lot. You don’t need to be in world class athlete shape for the type of climbing we will be doing. Much of climbing is about using your legs for upward progress. If you can walk up stairs, we can probably get you up a climb.
Can Kids do this trip?
Absolutely! Kids are natural climbers. They climb curtains and couches and when rock is present they climb that too. There is no better time for an introdauction to the world of climbing that when you are a kid.
How young or old can you be to participate?
We really don’t have age limits as everyone is different. It’s kind of a case by case basis. Four years of age seems to be about the age when kids start to appreciate it. Seniors are welcome as well.
Can people who are scared of heghts climb?
Absolutely! If you are willing to give it a shot. For some, it is a great way to overcome or at least face your fear. We like to say that there is good fear and bad fear. Good fear keeps you alive, whereas bad fear keeps you from doing things that you are capable of.
I don’t want to climb, but can I go along with the rest of my group/family?
Most of the time, yes. If transportation is not an issue this scenario works out great, as you are now the designated photographer. To alleviate the transportation issue, you can always take your own vehicle.
Do you provide transportation?
When we can, we provide transportation to and from the activities locations.
We reserve the right to occasinally have clients drive themselves and occasionally the guide to and from the location.
